I love acronyms! There are so many to use, they are so easy to remember, and they have so much meaning! For example: CTR (choose the right), WWJD (what would Jesus do?). One of my personal favs: FHE (Family Home Evening ).
Family Home Evening (FHE) in the context of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, refers to one evening per week, usually Monday, that families are encouraged to spend together in study, prayer and other wholesome activities.
Everyone comes from a family, but while attending school or living out of state, many people don't have family close enough to see them on a week by week basis. So, FHE groups are then made up of single people joining together to socialize, learn, and have fun.
The FHE group we used for the film is exactly that, a group of single students who have been paired together for the rest of the semester, and the experiences they have although a bit exaggerated, are typical of many college FHE groups.
